At Oogenlust, we cherish natural capital. We are one of the ten leaders - among Friesland Campina, Desso and DSM - in this governmental initiative that promotes companies to take responsibility for the effects of its business activities on people and the environment. We consider this an important initiative and actively encourage others to join.
All our processes are directed towards upgrading nature, harming the environment as little as possible and producing a minimum amount of waste. Plastics, for example, are sorted by quality. Organic waste is composted by us at our own domain.
Moreover, it is our goal to regenerate and preserve the original biotope at domain Oogenlust. Our terrain is also home to several prominent installations we used for the 2012 Floriade, such as the tree house and orangery.
The expo space at domain Oogenlust is a unique building that is intertwined with our history. This former Veldhoven showroom was completely dismantled and rebuilt at the new domain. We have moved our soul and personal emotion with us to Eersel: the ultimate cradle-to-cradle method.
